Richard Lobo is a globally respected HR leader, author, and strategic advisor with nearly three decades of experience in shaping high-performing, future-ready organizations. As Chief People Officer at Tech Mahindra, he leads the people and culture strategy for a global workforce of over 150,000 employees, driving transformation across leadership, talent, culture, and AI-enabled workforce innovation.
Recognized as the Economic Times HR Leader of the Year 2023, Richard is widely regarded as one of India's most influential voices in the evolving world of work. His leadership has consistently focused on building agile, human-centric organizations that thrive amid rapid technological and business change.
Before joining Tech Mahindra, Richard spent over 22 years at Infosys, where he served as Executive Vice President and HR Head. During his distinguished tenure, he played a pivotal role in scaling the company's global talent strategy and also served on the Boards of Infosys Consulting and Infosys China.
Richard is also the author of the acclaimed book Human at Work. Through his writing and thought leadership, he offers practical insights on leadership, workplace transformation, culture, and thriving in the age of AI and disruption.
Beyond the corporate sphere, Richard actively mentors emerging leaders, advises start-ups on people strategy, and collaborates with industry bodies such as NASSCOM and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on initiatives shaping the future of talent and work in India.
