With over 26 years of experience across content, data, and AI domains, M.Chockalingam, a Tech expert, brings deep expertise spanning multiple industries, including government and the legal sector.
A key milestone in his career was serving as Chief Architect – AI, where he led the establishment of the Center of Excellence for Emerging Technologies (AI) for the Government of Tamil Nadu over a span of four years. This included end-to-end leadership of AI strategy, use case identification, adoption frameworks, hands-on development, and deployment across critical departments such as Agriculture, Health, Energy, and Education. Currently, Mr. Chockalingam serves as the Director Technology, Research and Responsible AI at Nasscom AI.
Further, he brings in hands-on expertise in building machine learning and deep learning models and the ability to develop a GPT-style model from scratch. This includes full-stack ownership from data engineering, storage and management, pre-training, model development, fine-tuning, evaluation, to deployment—on-premises or in the cloud.
In his personal space, he is also a blogger and believes in sharing knowledge with others that would impact lives positively.
